Long Island Iced Tea
Wow, this is my first post about a drink that doesn’t have an inappropriate name! There’s really surprisingly few out there, when you’re talking about drinks popular at bachelorette parties. Most of them are pretty dirty. But the long island iced tea has long been a classic favorite drink in the USA, and I’ve had always had great success serving it at bachelorette parties. It works best at classy parties that might shy away from dirty-named drinks. There are a few different versions of the drink out there, but this is my favorite:
1 ½ oz Vodka
1 ½ oz Tequila
1 ½ oz White Rum
1 ½ oz Triple Sec
1 ½ oz Gin
3 oz Sour Mix
Splash of Orange Juice
Splash of Coke
Shake and strain into a soda glass
Garnish with a lemon wedge
A little warning: This is a very strong drink! There are almost five standard drinks in this, so don’t let any of the girls have more than one!

Hi Laila, I’m Gracia. I’m throwing a bachelorette party for my friend Laura, and I can tell that your blog is going to help me pick some drinks to serve. I don’t really know a thing about mixed drinks, so I’m glad there are experts out there I can learn from. I have one request, though. Post more drinks like this, without dirty names! Laura doesn’t enjoy lowbrow humor, and there aren’t going to be any penises or anything else inappropriate at her party. I’d love to serve some of the drinks you’re talking about, but I need something polite to call them by! Thank you!
